Ability to set default reader documentation scope
complete
Mikkel Thordsen
Currently if you create a user and add it to a reader group they, by default, can still see everything in the project.
you must manually on each reader user set documentation scope to NONE.
this makes little sense.
it would be nice to set a default documentation scope for all new users.

Mikkel Thordsen We do have enhanced this feature now, while creating readers you can also associate them with reader group with defined set of content access. Kindly let us know if you face any challanges in our newly launched revamped portal.

This would be a really helpful feature especially since the API's for working with a users content permissions is lacking.

Derek Mock: You can assign content access to the reader group and then assign that reader groups through API as well.

you can do this via reader groups. tie a domain to the group and when they self-register, they get access to what they need.

Thank you for putting this one on the list Mikkel Thordsen. It reminds me of how quickly one (me) tends to get used to the "that's the way it is" idea. It makes little sense indeed.

Arjan Ros: We have fixed this scenario, request you to try in our new portal and share your feedbacks if any.
