Ability to export sitemap hierarchy

We need a repeatable way of exporting just the category & article titles (without the article content) while retaining their exact hierarchical order.
Currently, you can export the entire site as a PDF (which takes quite a while) and try to use the TOC, but the articles are not correctly ordered within each category.
Ideally, the sitemap export could be done in a couple formats (e.g., markdown, excel, etc.) so that we can plug the data into a mind mapping tool to perform ongoing maintenance on how our information is structured.
Alternatively, if there was a tab within the backend that allowed users to view the hierarchy as a tree, export a snapshot of the current state, rearrange the order visually, etc., that would be even better.

Thanks Shakeer Hussain S -- this looks great!
I don't want to post it online, but I will email an example of a tree I manually created to collaborate with my colleagues internally. This might help clarify the request.
One note to emphasize: Yes, enhancing the backend UI to allow users to edit the hierarchy as a tree is much preferred over exporting the data into excel / markdown for an external tool.

Hi Joshua - Thank you for providing such a thorough description of your issue. After reviewing your request, I've summarized my understanding as follows:
Export Category & Article Titles: You want to export the names of categories and articles.
Exclude Article Content: You don't need the actual content of the articles, just their titles.
Maintain Hierarchical Order: The order of categories and articles should stay the same as on the KB site.
Current Export Issue: The current PDF export method takes too long and messes up the article order within categories.
Desired Export Formats: You want to export the data in formats like Markdown or Excel.
Use for Organizing: Your plan to put the data into a tool that helps them organize your information.
Visual Hierarchy Editing: You are suggesting a way to view and edit the hierarchy like a tree on the KB site. You could then export this edited hierarchy.
Enhanced User Interface: You believe having this hierarchy editing feature within the backend of the website would be even better.
I will assess the technical feasibility of your request and subsequently provide you with a response. Thank you for your patience.
