Electric lime Sheep - Please be known that all the files can be downloaded both in "All files" menu option and against the individual folder view screen as well.

Electric lime Sheep yes this is valuable feedback, however would like to analyze the technical feasibility. Right now, in Drive, we have "All files" option and as a user, with provision to download all the files will be time consuming. For time being we can provide an option to download within a folder or based on file types filter option. We will keep you posted about this feature request once we pick it after thorough analysis. Thank you.
